The second G20 Health Ministers Meeting also serves as a way to introduce Indonesian local wisdom, especially the Island of God Bali’s wisdom and culture. Bali local wisdom was shown through ARMA Museum Ubud-Bali.

ARMA Museum (Agung Rai Museum of Art) was founded by Anak Agung Gde Rai. Apart from being an artist, Agung Rai is also the curator of the legendary and ancient paintings being displayed at the museum.

“The ARMA Museum is a living museum, where it seeks to bring awareness of local culture to the local residents. The museum provides free classes for local children to learn Balinese dance, painting, and sculpture with the intention of maintaining “harmony” between culture and the human ecosystem,” said Agung Rai.

Anak Agung Gde Rai said that he dedicated himself to the country through arts. Preserving and popularizing Indonesian (especially Balinese) works of art by building the ARMA Museum. This museum is not only for storing and exhibiting works of art, but also as a place to learn art and culture for the younger generation.

This perspective has brought Agung Rai to be known to the world, and attracted many influential world figures to visit and study at the ARMA Museum. Several national figures who have visited the Arma Museum were former Indonesian President Gus Dur, BJ Habibie, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Aside from national figures, the museum also attracted world figures such as Barrack Obama, Desmond Tutu, veteran singer David Bouwie, whom all have stopped by and shared their view of life with Agung Rai at the ARMA Museum.

Agung Rai also expressed his happiness for seeing Bali as the host of the Second G20 Health Ministers Meeting, which allow the introduction and introduction of Balinese arts and culture.

“I see this G20 event as the best recovery measures, both from an economic and tourism perspective. We must recover stronger. Given Indonesia’s potential, especially Bali with the cultural sector, it holds a very special value in the eyes of the world,” he concluded.
