TOSS TB itself is an acronym for Find and Treat TB.

One approach to finding, diagnosing, treating, and curing TB patients, is to stop the transmission of TB in the community.

You also need to know the steps for TB TOSS, namely:

  1. symptoms in the community.
  2. Treat TB properly and quickly.

Symptoms of Tuberculosis (TB) that you can know:

  1. Cough for more than 2 week

If you find the above symptoms, then immediately seek treatment at the nearest health center or clinic for further examination.

As a precautionary measure to prevent TB transmission, you must understand the etiquette of coughing or sneezing as follows:

  1. Use a mask

  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue
  4. Don't forget to throw it in the trash

The Ministry of Health gives special attention to this, because if TB treatment is not carried out properly and quickly, the TB germs will become resistant to treatment, usually called Multi-drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR TB) or Extensively-drug Resistant Tuberculosis (XDR TB).

The Ministry of Health also stated that all Puskesmas in Indonesia were able to provide TB Treatment Services. In addition to health centers, clinics, hospitals, as well as private doctors have been able to provide TB treatment services.

In the last 7 decades, approximately 300,000 Tuberculosis patients are treated and served per year.
